PART 6:TEST MANAGEMENT

How to access the test management configuration menu.

1. Follow steps 1 and 2 under how to access the OpenELIS administrator module.

2. Click on Test Management under the master list page.

Note: The test menu configuration page will be displayed. The page has two sections namely; Spelling Corrections and Test Organization.

How to create reflex tests management rule for lab laboratory order

1. To create a reflex test management rule, login to  login to OpenELIS using an administrator  a username and password then click on the Submit button

2. Hover the mouse to the top left and click on the hamburger icon on the top left of the screen to open the menu. 

3. Click on the admin menu.

4.  Click Test Management

5. Click on Reflex Test Management

6. Click on the Rule button

7. Type the rule name. The Toggle Rule is On by default.

8. Select Any from the Over All Option drop-down menu

9. Select sample from the drop-down menu. In this illustration, DBS is selected

10. Search the DENGUE test and select.

11. Select the Relation as Equals

12. Select the dictionary value as Inconclusive

13. Select the Sample and Search the Test under the perform the following actions section. Then search for the test under the Search Test text box.

14. Click on the Submit button. The reflex test will be created successfully.

How to deactivate a  reflex test

1. Hover the mouse to the top left and click on the hamburger icon on the top left of the screen to open the menu. 

2. Click on the admin menu.

3. Click Test Management

4. Click on Reflex Test Management

5. Click on the deactivate button next to a rule.

6. Click on the  Confirm button. The rule will be deactivated successfully.
