TEST ORGANIZATION

 

VIEWING THE TEST CATALOG

  1. Access the OpenELIS Administrator module.

  2. Click "View Test Catalog" under "Test Organization".

  3. Click "Show Guide" to consult term definitions.

  4. Select a test to view details such as test name, unit of measure, sample type, and reference values.

  5. Use the "All" checkbox to view all test catalogs.


MANAGING METHODS

  1. Access the OpenELIS Administrator module.

  2. Click "Manage Methods" under "Test Organization".

  3. Click "New Method" to create a method.

  4. Fill in the required fields and save.


ADDING A NEW TEST

  1. Access the OpenELIS Administrator module.

  2. Click "Add New Test" under "Test Organization".

  3. Fill in mandatory fields (English/French names, test section, panel, result type, unit of measure, etc.).

  4. Click "Next" to proceed with setup.

  5. Define sample type, order display, and significance digits.

  6. Click "Accept" to finalize.


ADDING RANGE FOR A TEST

  1. Define normal, reporting, valid, and critical ranges.

  2. Set ranges by age and gender if needed.

  3. Click "Next" and then "Accept" to confirm.


MODIFYING A TEST

  1. Access the OpenELIS Administrator module.

  2. Click "Modify Test" under "Test Organization".

  3. Select a test, edit desired fields, and click "Next".

  4. Adjust result ranges as needed.

  5. Click "Finished" to save changes.


ACTIVATING OR DEACTIVATING A TEST

  1. Click "Activate/Deactivate Tests" under "Test Organization".

  2. Check or uncheck boxes to enable/disable tests.

  3. Click "Save" and then "Accept" to confirm.


ENABLING/DISABLING TEST ORDERABILITY

  1. Click "Enable/Disable Test Orderability" under "Test Organization".

  2. Check/uncheck tests to change status.

  3. Click "Next" and then "Accept" to confirm changes.


MANAGING TEST UNITS

  1. Click "Manage Test Units" under "Test Organization".

  2. Click "Create New Test Unit", enter names, and save.

  3. Assign tests to units and save changes.

  4. Set test unit order by dragging positions and clicking "Accept".


ADDING A RESULT SELECT LIST

  1. Click "Add Result Select List" under "Test Organization".

  2. Enter English/French names and save.

  3. Assign result lists to tests and save changes.


MANAGING SAMPLE TYPES

  1. Click "Manage Sample Types" under "Test Organization".

  2. Click "Create New Sample Type", enter names, and save.

  3. Assign tests to sample types and save changes.

  4. Set sample display order and click "Accept".


CREATING A UNIT OF MEASURE

  1. Click "Manage Unit of Measure" under "Test Organization".

  2. Click "New Unit of Measure", enter the unit, and save.


MANAGING PANELS

  1. Click "Manage Panels" under "Test Organization".

  2. Click "Create New Panel", enter names, and save.

  3. Assign tests to panels and save changes.

  4. Set panel display order and click "Accept".
