The purpose of this website is to share Digital Initiatives Group at I-TECH (DIGI), University of Washington (DIGI) approaches of designing, deploying and managing Health Information Exchanges using common, standards-based tooling in low- and middle-income countries.

We created the guidance and resources with our incredible partners, and share them with the aim of strengthening community approaches to HIEs. This site is not intended to be a comprehensive guide for all HIE workflows, nor to assume these are the only approaches that can be taken.
