Welcome to the OpenELIS Global documentation space. OpenELIS Global is an open-source Laboratory Information System (LIS) used in clinical laboratories around the world. This space is maintained by the OpenELIS Global community as the living source of truth for product, implementation, and developer documentation.
Space reorganization in progress (May 2026). The documentation is being restructured into 8 audience-aligned sections. Read the revamp workplan to follow the work. During the transition, some content still lives at the top level (folders that need a manual UI move). The eight section pages below are the new front doors β start there.
